417: The Stepfather
As Dan prepares to exit the 9th Story, he’s joined by fellow podcaster and expert on the zen of manliness, The Stepfather. They talk about The Stepfather’s podcast The Caveman Mafia and its new format, what it means to be a good man, why it’s OK to be unapologetically a man, men of the 40’s and 50’s, and more.

Daniel Foytik is the current host and producer of four podcasts including The Wicked Library and The Lift. Daniel is a writer and storyteller who explores his love story and storytelling in all its forms through, writing, narration, audio production, and podcasting. His original podcast 9th Story Podcast features interviews and discussions on story.
Daniel will be making his first foray into the world of audiobook narration in the upcoming audio editions of an anthology from Shadows at the Door, edited by Mark Nixon, and a novel, Carrot Field, by Vincent Asaro.
Daniel’s production entity— 9th Story Studios — also creates:
- The Wicked Library
- The Lift (with Executive producer Cynthia Lowman)
Jeanette Andromeda is an artist, first and foremost. While she expresses herself through many different mediums, at the core she is obsessed with a good story which made her a perfect choice to co-host Season 4 of the 9th Story Podcast.
Jeanette is constantly celebrating all forms of story-telling, and exploring new ways to share new tales. Along with her partner she runs the YouTube Channel “Haunting TV“, where they explore all things horror. They post videos of their own creation as well as let’s plays, and reviews for films, books, and comics.
When she’s not on camera for their channel or podcasting, she’s blogging. Jeanette writes on HorrorMade.com about horror and on jeanette-art.blogspot.com about her adventures in the world of art and design.
