Giving Stories a voice.

9th Story Studios creates the popular audio drama podcasts, Victoria’s Lift and The Wicked Library, as well as the supporter exclusive shows, Wicked Fairy Tales and The Private Collector.  We also worked on a short-term podcast project called Listen that collected and presented stories from live storytelling events. While Listen is no longer in active production, it continues to be a resource for students and teachers, and remains a popular way to promote live storytelling.

We love stories and storytelling in all forms and focus our efforts on writing and producing great audio content designed to entertain, excite, and make the listener think.

Our full media kit contains information and stats current as of September 2019.

REVIEWS

Truly amazing and fantastic ★★★★★
Victoria and her lift not only entertain but keeps you guessing the whole way. The way she gives people the choice to fix what’s going on in their lives or ultimately giving the people who are bad seeds what they truly deserve. Victoria is a mixture of amazingly cute but also frightening but that’s what makes me like her even more. Plus the interactions between her and the librarian are heartwarming and funny. Totally in love with this podcast and can’t wait for more.

I was never one for podcasts….The Lift has changed that ★★★★★
Listening to a Podcast seemed extremely boring to me. I always asked why listen to talking when you can just put on music. I am so happy I found The Lift and was proven wrong. I have never been so enthralled with any media. The narrations have a beautiful cadence that makes it easy to place yourself into the story. The stories are attention grabbing and clearly written by talented authors. The quality of this podcast is exceptional. I listen during my 40 minute commute and through more tedious tasks at work in the lab and it makes the day go faster. I’ve been struggling with some personal demons myself and hearing stories about others who are struggle fiction or not has reminded me that even the most seemingly well put together people are dealing with their own struggles, and that we all have difficult choices to face. I sigh a breath of relief whenever Victoria enters the story knowing that she will take care of what needs to be taken care of. Thank you for making such a wonderful engaging podcast. I cannot wait for future episodes.

All Around Class Act ★★★★★
What an incredible show! It’s great for fans of anthology horror, and seamlessly combines the details of setting and characters, creating a gateway to blend elements of classic and modern horror with enough pathos to connect you to each unique story. Victoria is a fantastic hostess to each private nightmare. She has the correct prescription for the psychological and spiritual ailments of her guests. As I’m just concluding the first season, I am excited to keep exploring Victoria’s world and backstory, as well as enjoy her interactions with other characters.

I recently discovered this genre of podcasts and started off by binging all of the no sleep podcast. I had a hard time finding a podcast of similar quality to listen to next and was excited to discover The Wicked Library. The Librarian is awesome ★★★★★
Love the Private Collector arc and the stories told. Very reminiscent of Tales from the Crypt, keep it up! So good

Excellent! ★★★★★
The stories are well-written and the Q & A sessions with the authors offer great insights on the entire writing process.

Keep the lights on…. ★★★★★
I have specific taste when it comes to podcasts, and for the past few years, I stopped listening completely. I knew what I was hoping to find, but I just couldn’t track it down. I don’t remember how I stumbled across The Wicked Library, but from the moment I pressed play, I found what I had been looking for. The show allows me to just shut off my mind and absorb myself into a world not too different from our own. I wish there were new episodes every day, I simply can’t get enough. Keep up the amazing work!
